OruOruBack to Home

The space between a biographer and a therapist.

Oru records your history and helps you understand it.

Why Oru exists

Most people who want to understand themselves already track things — sleep, mood, tasks, journal entries. The data exists. The insight doesn't.

The problem isn't a lack of information. It's that nothing talks to each other. Sleep lives in one app. Thoughts live in another. And neither one knows what kind of day you had before asking how you feel.

Oru was built to close that gap. Not by adding another tracker, but by making everything you already track mean something — by connecting your biology, your calendar, your emotions, and your goals into a single coherent picture of your life.

What we believe

  • Context changes everything. A journal prompt grounded in your actual biology and schedule produces honest reflection. A generic prompt produces a generic answer.

  • Growth is invisible without a mirror. The patterns that hold you back — and the progress you've made — are only visible across time, not in a single entry.

  • Your data is yours. AI processing is always opt-in, every AI action requires your approval, and the full app works without AI enabled.

  • Intelligence should feel gentle. Oru is a companion, not a coach. It observes and reflects — it doesn't prescribe or push.

Where we are

Oru is now available on iOS. All features are free while we build alongside our first users — the people whose feedback is shaping what Oru becomes.

We're a small team. We read every message we receive. If you have a thought, a question, or something that isn't working, we want to hear it.
